Revamp of the Interface of Vodafone Qatar App applying Vodafone’s brand new guidelines and assets.
Role
I was the sole UI designer for the project, working with a UX designer from Vodafone. I was in charge of the entire User Interface. I started by exploring the guidelines to understand the logic applied.
Afterwards I started setting up the baseline, organizing all the atomic elements. Keep in mind that the official libraries were under constant update and not entirely organized. So re-structuring these libraries to fit the specificities of Qatar’s market was in demand.

There were many pages to design / update. Each page had to be analyzed, components had to be researched and new assets were created when needed.
In the end, an organized Design System was delivered to Vodafone Qatar.

Case study
Vodafone launched new UI universal guidelines in 2018. Vodafone Qatar (being a separate market) wanted to be the first Vodafone to redesign the App with the new interface.
This included a new redesign and some new features to be implemented, all to be done in 5 months by Celfocus teams. This obviously brought many issues, as no proper time was invested in the improvement of the user experience. I raised the flag and warned to this, but due to poor management protocol no solution was brought up.
